Overview

In the aftermath of her mother’s death, Nour awaits a visit from her Egyptian aunt. Since childhood, Nour has believed her aunt to be a vampire and, as she nervously anticipates her arrival, Nour ruminates on her mother’s life and her experiences of dislocation and assimilation as an Arab immigrant in the American Rust Belt.
