Overview

An unusual animated film, both in terms of its subject matter (the female orgasm) and the technique used (embroidery). As in Michel Gondry's early works, there is an almost artisanal side to this challenging animation, which subtly invokes a territory often almost exclusive to women, but which the director subverts in her manifesto of the female body and pleasure without shame or moral judgment.
