The film traces a personal memory shaped by my grandfather’s amnesia and the shifts it created in our relationship. What begins as an intimate recollection unfolds into a meditation on how memory structures the bonds we take for granted, and what happens when those structures begin to erode. The piece reflects on the disorientation of being remembered differently by someone you love, and the quiet grief of witnessing a shared world slowly unspool. The film is a part of a virtual reality experience, MALI- an exploration of memory and forgetting through both a personal and a collective lens.
