Syncope

Overview

A young woman named Alice finds herself in the middle of a swampy clearing wearing a diving suit. She is connected to a cable that extends into the clearing, and walks with determination in an increasingly dark direction until she reaches the end of the cable. The light from a house in the distance suddenly catches her attention. She detaches herself from the cable and moves toward the house, but a feeling of unease begins to take hold of her. However, she lets her curiosity get the better of her and decides to step through the doorway. Two figures then appear in the house and surprise Alice. In a panic, she flees from her attackers and tries to find the cable she had recklessly strayed from.
