Overview

Through crucifixions, fisting and forest rituals, a group of queer and trans friends create a folk-horror love letter to radical intimacies. Produced over 6 years, Sterile offers a utopian/dystopian vision blending original footage with once banned silent movie Häxan (1922), practical special effects, explicit performance and commentary to present a joyous, affirmative documentary about lost times in nature in a trans- and queerphobic world.
