Second Parent

Overview

Only eleven states allow second parent adoption for same-sex couples. Single parent adoption is sometimes the only other option for same-sex couples, but in that case only one parent has legal rights to the child they adopt. This film explores one horrible scenario made possible by the laws we currently have in place.
