Overview

Searching_ is an experimental short film that interrogates the subconscious influences of digital imagery on personal understandings of sensuality. Assembling found footage from the internet, the film navigates the iconography of Blackness, queerness, masculinity, intimacy, movement, pornography, and familial dynamics. Through decontextualization and recontextualization, Searching_ unearths new narratives hidden within familiar images, questioning how social media and online archives shape bodily perception and desire.
