Ravone

Overview

A violent flood devastated Bologna in 2024. Following the course of the Ravone stream, we meet the stories of those who lived through it — a chorus of voices urging reflection on the emotional and material consequences of this tragedy, on how a community's balance was shattered, and on the increasingly fragile relationship between man and nature. A local tale that becomes universal: a metaphor for waterways searching for their living space, taken from them by man to make way for urbanisation. Dino, the last remaining market gardener, tells how the end of peasant civilisation led to the abandonment of the land. His words are an invitation to repopulate the hills and take care of them.
