Radiation is invisible and atomic weaponry was born in secret — this unseen industry has defined the American Southwest through the testing, manufacturing, and storage of nuclear armament. Off Country examines, through first-person accounts and oral history, the nuclear landscape of the Trinity Test Site and the Nevada Test Site, whose fallout and shockwaves still shape the region today and will continue to mark the landscape for the next 25,000 years.
