Overview

Naima, 10, lives with her father and his friends, one of whom is undocumented. Between jazz rehearsals, administrative paperwork, and the constant threat of the police, Naima, protected by her naivety, grows up in a musical and flawless world. As the band prepares for a concert, fear of the police taints their daily lives.
