Overview

The film tells the story of four generations of single mothers from the Storbeck family: grandma, mother, daughters and a granddaughter. All of them live on social welfare and cannot escape the spiral of financial hardship. The children's fathers don't pay alimony and the fear of an empty fridge is great.
