Overview

A young boy from a remote Maharashtrian village has an unusually large pocket stitched onto his school shirt, to safeguard his most precious belongings—petals, coins and marbles. Proud of his unique new accoutrement, the child is set above his peers, but his status becomes a bone of contention amongst the village elders. So unfurls a tragic tale of lost innocence and coming of age.
