Overview

The zoo awakens at dawn and the animals prepare for the day. The sun filters through trees to reflect on water where stately swans swim. Many other zoo animals are illustrated. People begin to enter the zoo to watch and be watched by the monkeys, bears, and wild sheep. A polar bear floats lazily in his pond, while children ride the zoo train.
