Overview

Eight short stories connected by one character — thirty-year-old Alexey, who lives somewhere in the Ryazan region. Alexey admires Chagall and even tries to paint in his style. He is also engaged in archaeology and learns to fly a hang glider. Alexey is surrounded by a variety of eccentric personalities — crooked, mute and an old Muslim.
