Wishing Star

Overview

A little girl lives in the countryside with the elderly villagers. Every day, she folds paper stars to pour out her longing for her mother. One day, a star spirit born from her yearning emerges from the glass jar filled with paper stars. It leads the little girl into a dreamlike realm where only she and her mother exist. Guided by the star spirit, the little girl is finally reunited with her long-separated mother.
