Overview

18-year-old Ellie is preparing for a big step in her life, to leave her parents' house to study, but fear holds her back and drowns her. The step for Ellie is taken by her childhood imaginary friend, a fish, reminding her of the reason she must move forward. Ellie hesitates but the next step, the realization of the truth and the acceptance of her adult self, is a one-way street.
