Overview

In the documentary Magdalena Łazarkiewicz used a lot of archive material with her husband, who talks about his professional path and his true fascination with cinema. The first film he ever saw was Teutonic Knights, and this love was already born then. After the screening, he felt that he knew ‘how to build a non-existent world in such a way that it looked real’. In archive extracts, Piotr Łazarkiewicz recalls film school, the intense emotions involved in his first film, and the beginnings of his work for the Documentary Film Studio.
