Dis / Ordering Transphobia

Overview

Inspired by the Peggy McIntosh article, White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack, Dis/ordering Transphobia is a video about non-trans people taking responsibility for transphobia. The video begins with three examples of non-trans privilege, and finishes with a reflexive description of why the video makers choose to make the video. Issues of transphobia within feminism and the queer community are addressed, with a particular focus on a transphobic article the video makers had to read as a school assignment.
