The Dead Can Dance (1981–1998) box set—released in late 2001 by 4AD—is a comprehensive 4-disc retrospective package containing three remastered CDs of career-spanning music (47 tracks) and a single DVD. The DVD included in this set marks the first digital video disc release of the band’s acclaimed 1994 audio-visual project, Toward the Within as well as 5 promotional videoclips.
