Overview

A middle-aged couple living on the poverty line has to face a terminal illness. Rosa’s whole world is limited to her house, her books and her medicines. Alfredo, whom has been in redundancy fund for years, mantains the couple by doing odd jobs. Rosa loves him so. She lets him think that his cheerful spirit and the fairytales about great job oppurtunities give her a kind of hope. As the days go by, Rosa is exhausted of her sufferings, of the indifference of her country, of her husband’s grieving in silence, and begs him to help her one last time.
