In the early 2000s, the nightclub Monastery was the place to be and where the dance the “Mono” (or the "Monastery") originated, which the Riverfront times called it the "Best Dance Craze" in 2002. In this lively documentary we look at how the Monastery changed the history of St. Louis music and dance culture.
