Overview

"Breaking Ice" features Captain Kristen Serumgard and her U.S. Coast Guard crew. The film takes place on USCGC icebreaker Healy, the largest polar icebreaker in the fleet, on a mission above the Arctic Circle. 18% serving on board are female. Honest. Bold. Often surprising.
