Overview

Pearls with a small mutation reappear on a South Atlantic coast, when a musician is attracted to the edge of the beach. They are the same pearls that would have led the pearl hunting profession in Japan to extinction. A young beatnik is called to take the pearls back to their place of origin. A reinterpretation of the myth of the siren song.
