Overview

After bringing a new life into the world, a mother cow begins the process of eating its placenta, due to it being packed with proteins and minerals. It also contains high levels of hormones like oxytocin and prostaglandins. Fun fact: Almost all land mammals do this, except for humans, camels, and some aquatic mammals like whales.
